U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) format Dog Tags, replicas based on the 1975-2015 regulations. Made from mil-spec embossed stainless steel.This format is for Marines who were issued tags between 1975 to 2015 using a Social Security number. This was eventually replaced in 2015 with the DoD ID number (EDIPI) (which we offer as Modern Issue Dog Tags).Use as a replacement or spare for regulation issued set.Unlike Army tags, only 1st and 2nd initials are used as opposed to the full first name. The branch name USMC, and gas mask size is also indicated. Depending on the issuing base, dogtags were either Embossed or Debossed as machines were replaced over time, we offer both options below (but Embossed is easier to read). ?️ Mil-Spec Matte Dog Tag Stainless Steel Dull 2D Finish. “I absolutely love my dog tag! They have so many options available to make your tag a replica of whichever era tag you are trying to replace. It’s the only place that has debossed as an option- which was very important to me because that’s how my uncle’s tag was made back in 1974-75. They have the different styles for each branch, and era, so many templates and extras to choose from. None of the other places have such a variety and so many options. You will not find anything more authentic anywhere else I can guarantee. Because I have searched tirelessly with disappointment until I found My Dog Tag. Also, the customer service cannot be beat. They send you an email to review and if you realize you want to make a change , just email them and they will take care of it for you :)) I am thoroughly impressed. My uncle’s tags were lost in a recent move and I wanted so desperately to replace them. But I couldn’t find anything that came close- until now. Thank you My Dog Tag!”
