The tags are very difficult to read. The font was much smaller than I remembered There's no way I could proudly display these. I planned on putting a set of these on my friend's headstone, but these are unacceptable and unreadable

Hi Ron, Thanks for your feedback and your military service. Our Korean war era dogtag replicas are made according to the same standards used in the 1950s using an indented 'deboss' font which is indeed harder to read than the modern emboss font, but is true to the era. It should be noted that deboss tags were never designed to be read by people, rather their purpose is for transcribing the dogtag information to carbon copy medical paperwork (like an old mechanical credit card machine). Nevertheless it is possible to make them easier to read by rubbing in black shoe polish (a service which we offer), as shown here: https://www.mydogtag.com/blog/debossed-darkened-letter-dog-tags Alternatively, when placing an order we suggest choosing the modern emboss font (even when making WW2, Korea, and Vietnam era tags), if legibility is critical for you.

Ordered a set of tags for my mother in remembrance of my father's marine corps service during the Korean War. They were genuine for the time period and we received them very quickly!

I ordered these for my sons & I's memory of my dad. He passed this year. He at least made it to 90. We were really happy with them. I did the show polish method & they turned out really good. I'm happy. Sorry I never took pictures.
