Hi Kenneth, Thanks for your feedback. To make debossed tags easier to read you can rub in black shoe polish, see here for details: https://www.mydogtag.com/blog/debossed-darkened-letter-dog-tags. Modern embossed tags are also easier to read than debossed tags.

“I purchased USMC Dog Tags(Vietnam War Era) for 2 daughters and my granddaughter. When the tags arrived, they were so excited. Dad/Granddad died in March of 2020. This was a perfect way for all of us to bond. We all loved having this memento. Generated great conversation.”
