In World War II members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps wore Dog Tags of a different shape than the Army and Air Force. I received my dog tags that I placed with my dad’s WW2 Navy items. His original ones were lost in a hurricane.

I could say a lot but I'll keep it brief. The tags were expertly made and up to what I expected they'd be. In fact, I was stunned when I pulled them out because they were BETTER than I expected. 10/10 would definitely buy from them again.

This is my second set that I ordered, due to a typo on my mistake, I made a new order. They came out great! I’ve always wanted a set of WWII style tags, even when I was on active duty. The only things that I can say is that the finish on the edge of the tags seen a little sharp, maybe you can smooth the edges of the tags. Thank you again for a GR8 Quality product!! Mark at MyDogTag.com was amazing. He helped me recreate my grandfathers WW2 fingerprint Navy dog tag.... right down to every tiny little detail, including the fingerprint. YES, he was able to laser etch my grandfathers original fingerprint on the the back of the tag just like the original had. Mark knew his stuff and was able to help us identify even the type of cord (instead of a chain) that was on the original based on the tiny little piece that still hung from the tag. My order required a lot of detail (probably more than most) and Mark made it happen with the utmost professionalism and patience. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. I would HIGHLY recommend using MyDogTag.com to create or reproduce a military dog tag. I wish I could give them 10 Stars! THANK YOU!!!!

Pretty good quality dog tags but nowhere near the replica of the original WWII navy tags I was hoping for.

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your review. We are always looking for ways to improve our products to meet our customer's needs. Currently our replica WW2 Navy and USMC dog tags are made using a laser engraver. During WW2 stamping machines were used. We are on the hunt for an old machine with the correct font to add to our products.
