“I have to say the price was right but the product lacked quality. I was surprised to see and didn't like the rounded edges on the reverse side (which I don't recall seeing on any of the images). I realize these are basic metal tags but I'm not sure why they can't be like an original tag. Or offer a higher price for a solid piece of metal. I plan to look around to find a more authentic dogtag.”

Hi Tom, Thank you for your review. Outside of the very rare (and not issued) 1965 solid tag, all US Army and Air Force dog tags, since 1939, have had a rolled edge. The Naval services switched to the rolled edge tag in 1948. When the notch was removed in 1967 the tags retained their rolled edge and still do to this day. While you may be able to find someone with a small supply of surplus tags from the 40s, the tags we sell are as close as you can get to authentic WW2 dog tags.
