Newgrange Swirl Ring with Heavy Flat TrimsMade in Ireland.This ring is a wonderful example of the Irish Celts love of circles and spirals. The design is inspired by ancient carvings on the entrance stone at Newgrange, Ireland's most famous Megalithic Passage burial tomb. The passage and chamber of Newgrange are illuminated by the winter solstice sunrise.
The spiral pattern works very well on this ring as we used a 'Matte' finish in the center of the design. Our trained Goldsmiths then polished the swirls to a 'Mirror' finish to create a wonderful contrast. To complete the look we added trims on the rim of the band which are highly polished to create a a very effective and striking finish.
The ring is available in two width, 6.5mm and 8.1mm which shows off the spirals to perfection as this is considered the optimum width to showcase this fabulous design.
Available in Platinum, Palladium, 10k White and Yellow Gold.
