ORIGINAL 1970s DESIGN - Silver History of Ireland BraceletMade in Ireland. This elegant 6 link bracelet has a total of 12 Irish symbols, with 2 symbols on every link. The bracelet tells the History of Ireland through historical panels. Award winning design by an Irish designer called Michael Hilliar who resides in Dublin. Although copied by many over the years none of them can match or hold a candle to Michael's superb workmanship, talent and skills. Irish history is complex and interesting and Michael used 12 symbols to illustrate the most well known and interesting parts of our history.
The most well known symbol associated with Ireland is St Patrick, and that is the first symbol used. St Patrick is reputed to have banished snakes from our shores and responsible for bringing Christianity to Ireland. The final symbol is a question mark, also very appropriate as it is meant to reflect on what the future holds.
This bracelet is heavy, and sits beautifully on the arm. It has a very nice 'Lobster Fastening Clasp'.The links are 10mm wide.
Perfect for Men and Women. A detailed explanation booklet accompanies every piece.
Please Note that this bracelet is 7.4" long and maybe a little long for the "Petite" lady. We would suggest the 7mm 4 Link Bracelet instead.
