“For an IFAK or EDC First Responder kit, this focuses largely on bleeding & GSW, vs. blunt force trauma, or wide-area abrasion/burn issues. Good carry if you are out working the wood lot with your chain saw or in an environment where potential bleed-out before evac is a concern. The airway mgt. and pleural/pneumothorax kit is basic first response with the kit using the most likely size. The kit bag is well designed and easy to open and access one-handed for deployment of critical bleed treatment. Not designed to add much else as the pack gets too tight or jangly. All this said, the contents are quality but the entire package is over-priced and most first responders, TCCC, WFR-EMT, and LEA have access to same or better contents at better pricing.”

“The Shield is the perfect GSW kit for law enforcement. The Shield has everything you need and nothing you don't. I have been looking for a kit for my tactical vest for a long time now. Too many companies include unnecessary items (Ibuprofen, Band-Aids...etc.). These take up space for no reason. If you get shot this is what you need, period. Great job My Medic!”

“This is the most complete IFAK for patrol officers out here. I have shopped around and searched for kits for my department’s officers, so I’ve seen many offerings. The Shield is thorough…I like the decompression needle as well as studies show that, unlike the military, law enforcement mostly suffers from torso wounds. Nicely done MyMedic. The life-saving kits I got will go to much deserved peacemakers.”
