“Fortunately, I have not had the necessity to suture anyone with The Stitch, but I have evaluated it, and feel like it will be great for emergency situations at home or in the wilderness. The kit is stocked with everything you would need to do simple emergency suturing except a numbing agent. The instrument quality is the same as in many disposable suture sets that I have used over the last twenty something years as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) working in Urgent & Emergency Care. The instruments are made in Pakistan, not Germany (German instruments would make The Stitch at least 5 x more expensive. I would recommend adding a disposable stapler and staple remover ( hint hint folks at MyMedic). They have both 5 staple and 15 staple units available.. I would highly recommend The Stitch to anyone adequately trained in its use.”
