I wanted to achieve 2 things. More comfort and a new design for storage.
The Elddis mattresses were only 10cm deep and not comfortable. We tried a 5cm topper and that improved matters but was a nuisance when folding the bed up for storage. My Majestic 125 has a large boot with symmetric folding bed frames above. I decided a new mattress was needed. I also wanted a different design of the segments to open up room foe the double sleeping bag behind the frame.
