“Just like the first device i purchased, mypuremist stopped working after a couple weeks. Check the internet before you buy. These machines are good, but will break for sure.”
“I wrote a review under Customer Service is non existent. Since then I contacted the corporate office and spoke with Kasha (not sure if spelled correctly). She was very helpful, and is arranging for a replacement to be sent out. I am still only giving three stars, as I do not think I should have had to call corporate in order to obtain customer service.
The product is good, when it works for my husband, and hopefully third time is a charm. In reading other reviews there does seem to be a problem with the heater safety switch.”
“Got this for my wife. She has a humune dease and can't take a lot of anti biotic's. So I got her this to try and clear up her sinus infection she had. She used it and everything started to become clear not yellow anymore. So it does work. Something that really does work. She still uses it to keep her sinuses clear. It's January and my runny nose is stuffed up. I'm congested to the max, post nasal drip and coughing up questionable gunk. I sat in with a humidifier all weekend and when I went to work Monday, it hit me like a ton of bricks. The sinus pressure was severe and I was getting flash migraines from any irritant I came in contact with. I went to the doctor and the congestion is all in my head, as my lungs were clear. We're thinking a sinus infection, but it could be viral since it is January.
Anyways, the doctor recommended I look into this MyPurMist steam inhaler. I ordered it online and picked it up from Target the very next day. This machine is wonderful! The first go round Tuesday night flushed out so much stuff; it was almost instant relief. It's now Thursday, and even though I'm not fully "unstuffed", there is a significant difference. I haven't had any problems with sinus pressure. And because my nose and the immediate sinus cavities feel flushed & clean, I'm not constantly blowing my nose every time I go outside or come in contact with something bad in the environment. The more I use it, the more hydrated my sinuses feel. Even the stuff I'm coughing up is coming out with ease; it's not dry & stuck somewhere.
Even after I get over this sinus or viral infection, I plan to make this part of my daily routine.”
