"S" Hooks are crimped on one end to protect your tarp from tearing.
Retains Elasticity in cold weather, good choice for use in Canada and northern parts of USA
Does not withstand UV Exposure as well as synthetic rubber
The decision to go synthetic or natural is a tradeoff and must be made based on region of use.

“Needed bungee cords, prefer natural rubber so I got me a 50 count box from Mytee. Not much to say about bungee cords unless they break easily or until they last over 6 years like the last bunch I got from another vendor. The hooks are crimped so they won't come off the cords. Seem to have decent stretch.”
