We absolutely want you to enjoy your skincare, and I’m happy to suggest a few tips to get the most of our products, should you be interested. As I’m sure you know, Renew Resurfacing Night Serum is clinically shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and increase hydration after four weeks. To maximize your visible results, it is important to use Renew as directed. We typically recommend applying skincare from thinnest to thickest, in this order: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, 5) Face Oil. After cleansing, apply your serum to clean, damp skin and allow to absorb for 2 - 3 minutes before moving on to the next step in your routine. When it comes to Renew, we recommend applying in the evening because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which can be sensitizing to the skin, especially in the sun. I’d love to share a little more about Renew’s formula and a few tips on how to get the most out of your regimen. In an independent clinical study with 33 Renew users over 4 weeks, 97% showed a decrease in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, 100% showed an increase in hydration, and 7 out of 10 showed improvement in skin tone and texture (of course, everyone’s skin is unique so results can vary).
Because Renew Resurfacing Night Serum contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (which can be sensitizing), we recommend initially applying Renew twice per week and then gradually increasing from there to give your skin a chance to adjust. AHAs can also increase sun sensitivity–as mentioned on the box–so be sure to apply SPF, limit sun exposure, and use Renew in the evenings! It’s also important to apply skincare in the optimal order. We recommend applying our products from thinnest to thickest, in this order: 1) Cleanser, 2) Serum, 3) Eye Cream, 4) Face Cream, 5) Face Oil.
