“I have always been very cautious about using any product on my face that contain the words “alpha hydroxy” and /or “glycolic acids” because of permanent thinning of the skin on my face due to a lotion that was prescribed to me in my late 20’s for eczema and used for many years…one of the side effects that I didn’t learn about until well into my 30’s was permanent thinning of the skin. My skin is very sensitive and reacts to the environment and all the stuff in it! At one point if it was really smoggy my cheeks would weep….fast forward to my late 60’s. I started having these small patches of skin that would get hard and feel like a scab although they were invisible, but I could feel them getting harder & higher everyday.
