“I recently got back from an island camping adventure in the Whitsundays and let me tell you a little story.
I had found two delightful trees that became the backbone of my dream state. We shared an ocean view reaching out to the islands opposite our own. The cool eveing breeze meandered through their leaves and my Nakie bug net, keeping us cool in the humid tropical rainforest climate, with not a sandfly in sight. The rain knocking on my Nakie tarp created a trance inducing pattern, coinciding with the soothing waves crashing against the coral strewn beach front that was the verandah to my suspended abode. I was lulled into the deepest of sleeps as I gently swayed in my Nakie hammock, and almost as though it could sense it, the swaying became so gentle so as not to disturb me, yet enough that I felt cradled as though I was in my mother's arms, once again. Sleep came, we dreamed sweet dreams.
In the morning as I woke gently from my slumber, I stretched my self out, and opened my eyes, the world was covered in the dense humid fog known to the tropics, the rain was still patting my shelter roof, and I was dry. I was dry.
After two blissful nights, I wept a single tear as I unclipped my Nakie straps nestled around the trees, and coiled them neatly into their bag. I inspected both trees for signs of our connection, and not a mark was left behind to tell of our adventures in this paradise we called our home.
It was time to leave our island, but we will always have our memories.”
“Straps are super strong and so easy to use and adjust if required. I was worried it would be fiddly to set up, not at all it was so so easy! Even when you can't find the right trees we managed to rig up with ease buy adjusting with ease! Great simple strong system! Love my Nakie!”
“These hammocks are amazing!!!! So easy to set up and so comfy. I haven’t had the chance to use the bug net or rain tarp yet but they feel like excellent quality and I’m excited to use them. Thanks Nakie!!”
“Worth the money, best hammock I’ve ever owned... the straps on thicker trees can be and issue, but materials are quality. Wound’t hammock any other way.”
