“Six family members and I rafted down the Nantahala river this past 4th of July holiday, 2018. Our guide's name was Porter, and he did an excellent job of keeping us safe while ensuring we were having fun (and getting wet too!). The NOC does a great job of ensuring everyone is aware of the risks involved prior to getting on the raft, then the guides remind you of emergency procedures during your trip. Half-way thru our adventure, we had to leave the water due to a tree blocking the river. Once the threat was removed, we continued downstream. The NOC guides handled it well. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a fun, safe ride!”

“Our whole experience, from booking to photo selection, was simply outstanding. Our guide, Paul, and the one other, Byron, for our trip were great. The equipment ‚Äúrap‚Äù was a nice touch. Paul‚Äôs willingness to share his knowledge of the river, area, wildlife, and various inhabitants made our trip much more memorable.”

“We took out Boy Scout Troop, most of which were beginners. From the beginning to end it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend. Special Shout out to our Guides; Garrett and Orion, they made the trip a blast and offered a lot of information, history and tons of FUN! We can't wait to come back.”
