“Our guide was fantastic and super knowledgable. We have rafted in Tenesse quite often, but this was our first time in North Carolina. We will definetley be back as everyone was profesional, kind, and made sure everyone was safe and havinf fun.”

“As most of us, we are looking to do something fun and exciting that is a good family outing. I brought my two middle school aged kids and wife, whom had never been rafting before. This was such an awesome time and will always be remembered. This is the perfect river to get on for newcomers. Our raft guide was awesome and took his job very professionally. It is such a beautiful valley with a lot of natural plant life that is native to this area. There is a couple of fun drops but nothing to be afraid of. Highly recommend this outing to anyone looking to get away.”

“My first time there. It was a little confusing, not good directions. Parking was difficult. I had to walk back to my car (a long way) because I didn't know what to bring (NOT bring--don't bring anything except your car keys). You have no control over who's in the boat with you (if you travel alone or in a small group). I got stuck with a screamer. We got stuck on a rock and the guide had trouble getting us off it. otherwise, it was fun.”

“My family of 4 had a wonderful time on the river. Gage was an AWESOME guide! He kept us entertained and offered for us to try some maneuvers to make things even more interesting. My sons loved every minute. We will be back!”

“It was awesome !! We moved to NC 5 years ago from the Midwest and always looking for someplace to take our families when they come to visit. Nantahala was an excellent choice.”
