“We have gone on several rafting trips as a family but the one at Nantahala was by far the best. The section of the river we were on had great white water and beautiful views. The instructors were very knowledgeable and this place did a very thorough safety training. Plus the action shots at the end were great!”

“This review is more about my granddaughter and grandson. We enjoyed a fantastic whitewater rafting trip on the Nantahala. It was an out of bounds new experience for them. Excited to contemplate but a bit intimidating at the beginning getting PFDs, paddles. The staff happy helpful attitude reassured greatly. Our guide was so attentive noting my grand daughters anxiety as we got to the raft. He kept her close. His friendly enthusiastic manner won her over and made the trip a delight for her and my grandson. You can't overstate how positive an impact such an experience can have on someone their age. It was a fantastic fun filled, safe trip.”

“We had a great time with NOC. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, kept us save, spun us off lots of rocks (super fun!), and had a great sense of humor. Safety is priority number one. I HIGHLY recommend their white water rafting trips!”

“We had an amazing experience! NOC prepared us well and ensured that we were in the best position to enjoy a safe and fun ride down the river. Our guide Jacob was wonderful. All of us (age range from 10-75) agreed this was a highlight of our vacation and are looking forward to doing it again!”
