“It's a fun and exciting experience, but the gorge imparts a kind of magic too: early morning mist rising off the river, white water rushing over rocks unseen, the silence of the broad pools of 54 degree water, our guide working miracles with a single paddle. I'd do this trip again in a heartbeat, and I'm sure that I will. Hat tip to our excellent guide Malcolm, who channeled the magic of the place while keeping us off the rocks.”

“We had a fun and exciting trip down the river. Our guide, Kyle, added humor and a few surprises to our adventure. He, definitely, knew the river well. So, request him, if you can. The rafts, paddles and life jackets were in great condition. I felt safe and secure as we ventured down the river.”

“The weather cooperated for another beautiful day on the Nantahala! As usual, NOC was very organized and on time with their orientation and distribution of equipment. Their guides are very knowledgeable and make the trip down the river fun!! We’ve been going there for many years!”
