“We had a wonderful first time white water rafting trip. The center was well organized and took all precautions for the COVID virus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our guide Ellie was terrific. She talked about points of interest along the way and made sure everyone was having fun.”

“Trip was great. Check-in, even during a pandemic, was a breeze. Parking is tight so be prepared to hike a bit to registration. There aren’t lockers, so only take what you intend to raft with. Safety is paramount at the NOC and it shows. Our guides, Mikey and Autumn, were SO AMAZING!!! They were so knowledgeable about the wildlife and had a story of most of the plants you encounter. I can’t say enough about the memories we made. I grew up paddling this river and I wanted to pass the experience on to my son.”

“Had a blast! Dalton was an excellent guide. The entire staff was friendly helpful. Our only complaint was Rivers End restaurant, which took over 2 hrs for lunch, including a 35 min wait(was told 20). We since did a 5 person self guided rental, which we also enjoyed. This visit we tried Wesser’s for a much quicker lunch; and it was good: especially the NOCwurst... We will probably come again; but do wish there was a discount for folks like us who raft with NOC several times annually...”

“Great time rafting on the Nantahala river. The NOC is the best. The guide was great. Enjoyed eating after rafting. A great place to take the family for the day!”

“Our first rafting trip was a huge success! We had so much fun and our 8 and 11 year old kids said it was the best part of our trip. Jess, our raft guide, was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend rafting with the NOC!”
