“This was the first rafting trip I am my daughter went on, my wife had gone before. The staff and the overall experience was a good one. The NOC is very organized and the staff is very fun and professional.”

“We had a blast on the river with our 3 grandkids ages 15-20! The NOC staff was great and we were well informed by polite and knowledgeable staff through the entire day at NOC. Our river guide Jack was great and we’d love to raft with him again but want to step it up to at least intermediate level. The Nantahala was a little too calm for me! Jack said he guides at another NOC site ( in TN not NC; Chattahoochee River?) where the rapids are a higher category. Please let me know which site that is. Thanks Lee Rundquist”

“I’ve wanted to do the Nantahala River rafting trip for decades. My parents did it in the early 80’s. We’ve watched the rafts come over the falls every time we pass through the gorge. It wasn’t as scary as I imagined it would be. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. 10/10”

“The registration, check in, and whole experience is simple and smooth. The trip is fun the guides are perfect at guiding the river and the fun.”
