As someone whose skin has shifted from combination to slightly drier with age, I was curious to see how this primer would perform.
Packaging & Texture:
The product comes in a sleek tube, though I found dispensing the right amount a little tricky. The formula is thin and runny, and I think a pump system would have made application easier. The texture feels more like lightweight skincare than a traditional primer and it spreads evenly and absorbs quickly.
Scent & Feel:
The scent is subtle and not overpowering, which I appreciated. Once applied, my skin felt hydrated and comfortable, without any greasy residue.
Performance with Makeup:
I used a beauty blender to apply my favourite water-based foundation over the primer. The application was smooth, and my makeup looked fresh throughout the day. My skin stayed balanced, not too dry or oily, which was a big positive. However, I did notice some foundation oxidising (darkening) more than usual over time, which was the only drawback for me.
Overall Impression:
This primer performs well in terms of hydration and longevity, especially if you’re after a skincare-feel base that keeps makeup looking fresh. The only downside was the product’s runny consistency and the slight darkening of my foundation during the day.”

With chamomile to soothe, yarrow extract to refine the look of pores, and vitamin E to protect and hydrate, it's skin care in a makeup product. When I used it for a job interview, even though I was sweating bricks with nerves, my makeup did not budge. This will now be my go-to primer.”
