Hi Melinda, thank you for your review. Our Stroke of Genius Liquid Cashmere Foundation has a beautiful dewy finish when applied to the skin. We recommend that those in warmer climates who have a more oily–combination skin type may require a setting powder or pressed foundation powder such as our Camera Finish Powder Foundation in the T-Zone to ensure longevity out of any foundation. We also recommend a lightweight primer such as our Auto Pilot Detox Cream to Water Primer underneath this foundation, for ultimate staying power. If the brush applicator is not your personal preference, you are able to remove it by turning the applicator halfway in between ON and OFF. Then you can simply push the applicator off.
