“Overall the product is very nice and I love it, but putting on the drawer railings were such a pain that I lost count of how many times I cried. I even gave up on it and had to try again a week later. Whatever premade little holes they have on the wood does not match up to any of the holes they have on the drawer members which caused a lot of un-leveling of the drawers due to the fact that i had to drill my own holes. I’m not sure if anybody else had this issue or if maybe i just had a faulty piece of furniture but at the end of everything I got it put together. Needless to say I’ll never build something with drawer railings again and will be paying for that expert assembly. Had it not been for that issue i would’ve given this 5 stars”

“Could not be happier with my Theo storage ladder bookshelves or with Nathan James customer service. I ordered 4 shelves in total. They were a breeze to assemble and install and they look a dream in our living room all lined up together to hold (some) of our library. One of our shelves was lost in transit. All it took was a single email to customer support to get things back on track. My representative apologized and immediately ordered another bookshelf for me. As if that weren't enough, I've just today received a box of Godiva chocolates as an apology from Nathan James. Excellent product, honest product details, and remarkable customer service that you just don't expect in the modern, digital age. Could not recommend this company and their products highly enough. If you're on the fence about this company or their products, don't be. I'm as skeptical as they come when buying furnishings online and I couldn't be more pleased that I chose Nathan James. Thanks so much!”

“These shelves are a great dupe for the one you can buy at CB2. The MDF and veneer are high quality and sturdy and once resembled the whole piece looks great! This was relatively easy to put together and install too which is always a bonus! The color is slightly different in life than online. Online the veneer is warm and light in person it’s much cooler which gives the impression that it’s slightly darker.”

“Very impressed with these bookshelves! They look amazing and are quite sturdy. The material is particle board but I think the laminate that is used is thicker than what is typical making the pieces very dense. Assembly was mostly easy except, as some other reviewers mentioned, the drawers were a bit tricky because the images in the instruction book are too small and unclear. As a result, I ended up drilling holes into one of the drawers thinking it was incorrectly manufactured when in fact, the drawers had to be turned upside down to install the drawer runners. I'm sure no one will read this and remember when they build though! :)”
