“It went on easily which is a big sell for me! I washed it first and you should plan to as well. There were some small cardboard looking pieces when I opened the package. Probably from packing but I didn’t want to take chances. It washes well. I haven’t had it on long so cannot say much about waterproof performance. I didn’t realize that this encasement does not fully seal for bedbugs. So if that’s what you’re looking for, check out what else is offered.”

“It is a great addition to the mattress, it might be a bit of a hassle to put it on but it really is worth it to protect the mattress and keep it new longer.”
