The Sealy Essentials 11" medium firm tight top mattress features real coils and a medium, tight-top pocket-coil design. It has 600 individually wrapped Posture Touch coils over a heavy 13.75-gauge tempered-steel core, standing 11 inches tall. The EssentialEdge perimeter provides a firmer, more usable edge, making it suitable for combination, back, and stomach sleepers, as well as couples. The mattress is made in Canada and comes with a 365-night trial. It also features a CleanProtect antimicrobial cover and CertiPUR-US certified foams.

How would you rate the firmness of this mattress? Firm

“This is a great mattress for someone who needs a firmer foundation under their back, or a stomach sleeper. I would not call it medium-firm, more just firm. It was not squishy on top (it's not a euro or pillow top), but did have some comfort layers. It was very comfortable for me (an adult with back pain, stomach/back sleeper), especially with a 2 inch memory foam topper. But it was meant for my son (11) who is a side sleeper and not very heavy, so I ended up exchanging it for a different model with more spring/squish. National Mattress made it quick and easy to exchange.”
