How would you rate the firmness of this mattress? Medium
First thing first, the delivery is delayed. It said expect 1-3 days for delivery but it arrived after 10 days. Due to this delay, I slept on my couch for at least 3 days. Then, the mattress does not expand properly. I watched video on YouTube that the mattress should expand to its full size within a minute. Mine expanded halfway after a few hours. I connected to the customer service team, they ask me to allow 3 days for expansion. The mattress is supposed to be 8” thick but the corners are just 4” and the body is around 6-6.5 inches only after 3 days. Therefore I connected with the customer service team again with photos attached, they said the case is forwarded to the mattress company, which is Sealy cocoon. However, after 2 weeks I still haven’t heard anything back from them. I sent another email again and still no response after a week. I am really disappointed and don’t recommend buying mattress from national mattress outlet.

Very disappointed in the mattress and the service provided by National Mattress (or more to the point the lack of service provided). The mattress is firm; not plush at all. We also bought medium firm mattress from Galaxy and they are much softer than the ‘plush’, which makes no sense. I sent an email to multiple email addresses at National Mattress (Including the customer service email address) with my concern as I think it may be a defective mattress and never received a response. It’s been a month now and still waiting. I’ve even followed up and still has no response. I’ve had the mattress for 2 months and it’s not getting softer. I’m very upset by the experience and strongly advise not buying from this company given they don’t respond or own up to any promise is ‘warranty’.
