“Fantastic camera! Easy to set up and connect via our WiFi extender. It survived being drenched by the heavy rain in the recent storms with no problems. We’ve got some great shots of our wildlife, birds, squirrels, local feline population….
Fox proof! This video was from the very first night where it nearly ended up as a fox snack - camera and housing unscathed.
Thanks very much for developing this great gadget NatureSpy - looking to buy another one with a solar panel very soon.”
“Remarkably easy to set up and share with other members of the household. Night quality is excellent and battery better than expected too. Still find best for it. In urban Solihull we have seen badgers, foxes, all the neighbourhood cats. It survived being peed on by one of the foxes! Have also tried it on the bird feeder and get good day time results there.”
“We have always loved the wildlife in our garden. The WildCam 2 has brought an extra dimension and pleasure in watching the birds the hedgehog and the foxes.
We highly recommend the Wildcam 2.”
“The initial set up can be a nightmare, specifically getting your phone to read the QR code. Both my wife and I tried on 2 seperate iPhones numerous times, one being an iPhone 15 Pro with latest software. Once it finally connected the WildCam 2 has worked well, albeit we’ve only had it outdoors for one afternoon and night. It’s picked up movement really well, alerted as it should have and recorded too. Blackbird, Robins, a cat and a fox (at 03:00). I would certainly recommend it as both the day mode and IR night mode are crisp pictures. Even having colour night mode is great quality.
Would I buy another, yes.
Would I recommend it, yes.
Just be patient with the initial QR connection.”
“Replaced a good quality standard WiFi camera with the NatureSpy Wildlife2. What a difference!! Vastly improved depth of colour and focus. Really impressed for such a small device. Captured an excellent video of my friendly fox within a couple of hours. Brilliant.”
Thanks Paul, glad you're enjoying it. We don't advertise this as being able to work with Windows, as per the information on the product page - it works via an Android or iOS app.
“Likes: wide angle lens works for our garden giving great low down view of passing cats, hedgehogs, badgers, foxes; choice of white light or infra-red at night is good, live view of current activity is good, battery life is exceptionally good. Dislikes: only recording choice is single still photo plus video and video proves hard to view (stuttering data connection) unless the memory card is taken out and inserted into a PC and then selection of which video to view is laborious - could do with a PC app that makes up video thumbnails and offers to play all videos from a give time/date range.”
