“We have the WildCam 2 and the solar panel. Fantastic combination. Was easy to set up and connect the solar panel. No recharging required until the Winter. Great night time pictures of our visitors.”
“Fantastic little camera with great resolution. I have it set up to watch my little wildlife pond.
Unfortunately, the motion sensor doesn't detect the frogs but I will often just have a look at the live feed and catch a peak of them.”
“This is my first wildlife camera. I'm 73 and not tech savvy but Ihave to say that setting this camera up was very easy. Clear instructions. I bought the tripod but wish it was a bigger/higher one as the grass is a bit long and the wind blowing it and the flowers causes the camera to record dozens of clips automatically. I may turn off the auto movement recording for a bit. I wanted to move the camera around and find the best places to use it. I really want to keep a watch on the local cats who have killed many o& the birds I feed, and also what birds are actually eating the food - mostly rooks and jackdaws!
The pictures are fairly clear but don't enlarge perfectly on my iPad but it's not a problem. I do find the alert recordings can be a bit dark at times-Possibly due to greyer cloudy days? Certainly with the sun out the recordings or live feed are very good. It doesn't seem to have much of a distance range at night - I'm hoping to see if cats or foxes are visiting or what the wood mice are up to!
It's great being able to move it from place to place on the tripod - II"m experimenting to see which are the best angles to view bird feeders and garden. I think I need to watch where the sun is too to reduce glare.
All in all, Ithink it is a great beginner camera. Very easy to set up and use and generally very clear views through it over quite a distance in daylight, less at night. The app is brilliant - well thought out too. If I can use it, anyone can. Worth buying, reasonably priced, solid little camera. I can see it being used a lot by myself and grandkids. Well done Naturespy.”
“Excellent camera, tripod and solar panel. Very easy to follow instructions and so simple to set up and operate.
Very impressed so far, catching fantastic footage of foxes and badgers.”
“The WildCam 2 is well made and a neat, compact camera. Being able to view animal sightings on my smartphone is very useful. Camera is quickly triggered to record any movement. The internal battery is enough to run the camera for about a week. My only problem has been transferring the video clips to my desktop PC, it seems a bit complicated (I admit I'm not very tech savvy).”
“Way exceeded expectations, we are picking up WiFi circa 17m away from house to top of garden , watching foxes and badgers feeding from the comfort of our own bed in full colour , the white led lights doesn’t phase them at all. Excellent quality, easy to save and share photos and videos , ticks every box 100%”
