Hi James!
Sounds like you need to adjust the sensitivity - under Camera Settings, then Motion Settings. You can set it to High, Medium, or Low. Adjust as needed.

“Excellent. It connects easily to my wifi. The camera is around 200 feet away to where my pond will be, but with a a clear unobstructed run. I am so pleased I bought another for my patio and have now no need of my Blink and Eufy cameras. The tripod is very nice too, well made and stable. The app takes a bit of time to master but all in all very pleased.”
“Brilliant camera for it's size Purchased to watch foxes in the garden Not been disappointed (better than TV) Ideal with alerts on my phone Found it easy to set up Definitely recommend”
“Brilliant bit of kit. Its watching a watercourse in HD, plenty sharp enough picture. Regular notifications to my phone over wifi and I can monitor it miles away. Very easy to set up. I have the solar panel with it, and the battery hasn't moved from 100%. Highly recommend.”
“I have a Wildcam 2 and the Tremarctos binoculars. The quality of both is superb: excellent build, stylish even. Can't imagine it being better. My slight disappointment is with the guidance one gets on the use of the Wildcam 2. It is not intuitive and less comprehensive that I hoped. This is a pity but it does not prevent me from giving the kit the highest score.”
