“This is the 2nd nature spy we have bought we have one in our hedgehog feed box and one that tracks his route around our garden.
Absolutely fantastic product and very easy to set up.”
Hi Heather!
I'm not sure why you feel this is misleading. It connects to your houses' WiFi, which is what it says it does on the website - and what all the other reviewers of this product have been doing successfully.
We can see about getting the camera swapped to something that doesn't use WiFi, that you can use in forests etc (but obviously will not have WiFi) - you've had the camera for nearly 2 months, but let us know and we'll see what we can do. Please email shop@naturespy.org.
“easy to set up, clear view. tripod is perfect for moving it around, solar panel keeps it fully charged so no indoor charging required even in our rainy dull weather
Sadly not as much wildlife in the garden at night as I hoped lol”
“Excellent. Just what I wanted. We have hedgehogs and other wildlife in our back garden. Have tried other cameras, but they didn't do what I wanted. Simply, I required a camera which connected to our WiFi, Had an app for my iPad, and allowed me to talk to and set up the camera from my arm chair. The Naturespy camera does just that. I have set up a record time between 10.00pm and 6:00am. Next morning, I can open the app and review all the events so easily. I can then save them to my iPad if required. Battery life is excellent. Well worth the money.
Before purchasing the camera, I spoke to Gemma in customer service, she was very informative and helpful.
Fully recommend this camera 5 stars!”
“We absolutely love our NatureSpy. We got it to watch our visiting hedgehog and learned they are actually at least 3 different hedgehogs. It is great to start the day by watching the night time activities in our garden.”
“Great bit of Kit, was surprised that the battery took nearly 9 hours to charge on an iphone charger, but once I'd sorted out the best place for my WIFI extender and the WildCam it has been working really well. Just need to sort feeding the wildlife so I can see more than our cat!”
