Only got this knife in the last couple of weeks, but so far it has been used to slice sandwiches on toast, tomatoes and cucumbers, and it's amazingly sharp and effective in smoothly doing its job. Besides its effectiveness, it is an extraordinarily beautiful knife that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for these attributes in a knife.
