Looks great with black handle. Finish on blade even better than other New West Knifeworks S35VN steel. Arrived not as sharp as other knives from you.

Excellent design and craftsmanship! I have been using it most frequently in cutting up various vegetables in meal prep in the kitchen. It works well in a rocking cut technique as well as a push cut technique that fits my preferences. BESS protocol testing showed sharpness of the edge at 205 from the factory using a calibrated instrument. When cutting full size tomatoes, and other vegetables, the Teton Mountain etching causes the food to release nicely. Will know more about this new premium steel in the months ahead. Looking forward to seeing this steel and handle choice in a petty knife. Highly recommend this knife to others that need a solid heavy duty knife as a resource in your kitchen.

I am far from being a chef,but oh my! I love this knife. It's as beautiful as it is functional. Looking forward to seeing more knives in the Magna-X steel in the future. Even if I don't need one, I will most likely be getting one.
