Functional and comfortable either sitting back or forward and looks great especially if you are creating a WFH set-up.

First of all, I will say I love the look of this chair and the mission of the company. However, I don't think it's fair to market this as a chair that can be used at a desk, where you will be sitting for 8 hours a day. Based on the photos, I expected the chair to be a firm mesh material. The base of the chair is in fact very hard plastic. It is not comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. I can't sit on it for 1 hour without being very uncomfortable. If you want to use this as an office chair, you'll have to pay an additional $150 for a padded cover and even then I'm not sure it would be feasible for an 8 hour day. Pretty disappointed, given that this chair was marketed to me as a work-from-home office chair.

Hi Erin. Thanks for your feedback, though we’re really sorry to hear that it hasn’t suited your needs. Whilst it’s designed to fit 80% of the adult population, unfortunately no chair is 100% perfect for everyone. To your specific points: whilst we’re seeing a lot of people delighted with their noho move as a work from home chair due its dynamic ergonomic comfort, in fact it wasn't designed as a single focus task/desk chair, but rather as a dynamically versatile chair for everyday use, supporting all the many activities (and postures) around the hub of a home (dining, working from home, kids' craft, socialising etc). It’s born of 20+ years of our design team creating performance ergonomic seating for the office (Life chair by Knoll, Generation chair by Knoll, to name 2), so it does have all that pedigree beneath the hood, but its function and construction are unique, from the patented auxetic (4 way flex) mesh which enables its range of flex (back, forward, and sideways), to the rock (back and forward). Thanks again for the feedback. Richard Shirtcliffe Co-CEO

Good chair with good lumbar & flexibility. Would’ve been nice to have different feet options (the one on the legs are super grippy)

I bought my noho move several weeks after I started working from home during the Covid quarantine. I’d been using a cushioned dining table chair and it had gotten really uncomfortable after sitting in it all day every day. I tried the noho and was surprised by how comfortable it is even without any cushion or padding. I tend to rock or lean back in any chair, so this is great. I can sit in it for a full workday and never get sore or uncomfortable. It also looks really great. We don’t have a ton of room and also generally go for a minimalist, Scandinavian look. This chair fits in with that aesthetic really well!

My wife and I didn't have good "office" chairs and bought two to improve our #WFH setup. Both chairs fit in perfectly with our decorating style, are super comfortable as well as support and move with the body seamlessly. Thank you for designing and producing such a wonderful product.

I've been using this as an office chair for the last few weeks and it has made a HUGE difference! What really sets this chair apart is the flexibility of the seat itself - it allows me to move any direction while keeping adequate support for my back. On top of how comfortable it is, it is absolutely beautiful and makes my office look incredibly chic!

After several weeks working from uncomfortable kitchen chairs, I was excited for my Noho chair to arrive. The flexion in the back of the chair makes it very comfortable and the design fits in just about anywhere. I’m glad to be supporting an environmentally conscious business as well.
