“I'll start by saying that I love these chairs. The design is beautiful, they look amazing in space, the color is vibrant and fun (I purchased the color Sunshine,) they're light, they stack, they clean up easily with a wet rag (great for people with kids,) and they have a little flex in the backrest so you can lean back.
However, there is ONE aspect to these chairs that I didn't expect. Vibration. The feet on these chairs is rubberized which keep the legs from splaying out and because of this, when you pull a chair out or push it in on hard floor surfaces the chair makes a loud vibration noise. It's quite jarring. We have a one year old and she loves to get behind these chairs and walk them around our dining room which has hardwood floors. The sound it makes is enough to drive you nuts. Trust me.
For this reason I have to rate these chairs 3 out of 5. A slightly higher rating might be in order but it really bugs me. I spoke with customer service but this aspect of the chairs is just the way it is.
They recommend putting a pad or a rug down underneath to mitigate the vibration. Which I will likely do but, buyer beware.
