“Let me get to the point - I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a degenerative genetic condition that causes joint subluxation/dislocation, and have woken up in pain for 13 years. And my husband has an old sports injury that causes him back pain. After the first night, my husband said his back pain improved - and I am no longer waking up at night with shoulder or rib dislocations! I wake up in less pain and have gotten more restful sleep than I have in years. This mattress is soft enough to cradle my hips and shoulders and supportive enough to keep my spine aligned. Our old innerspring caused too much pressure for me, and traditional memory foam is too soft to keep my spine in place. And and the Nolah sleeps cool, too! I wish we had found it sooner!”

“Like many people, we reviewed a gazillion mattressed and watched a gazillion videos and then went with a Nolah. My husband has severe, chronic back pain and he loved our super hard mattress that was really hurting me. We are both slim but I am only 5'3 and 105ibs and it was really hitting me hard for years. But I convinced him to get rid of the old mattress that we had for 10 years and go with the Nolah. He loves it! He sleeps super well on it and no pain complaints. I love it, too and it feels so much better than the old mattress but for me, I could have even had it a bit softer, especially when on my side. But we're keeping it. “Shopping experience excellent. Mattress arrived quickly. Outgassing, a faint sweet smell took 3 days before it was completely gone. Very pleased with the quality of the mattress but it is too soft for my liking even though I am a side sleeper. That is the reason I will return it. Edge support, as with many mattresses in a box is poor but that is not a deal breaker for me. Temperature neutral, I did not wake up drenched in sweat but it did not keep me cool either. If you are looking for a more soft mattress this would be an excellent choice. Personally I wish the mattress was a bit firmer.”

It expanded very quickly with no odor. I think it is very comfortable and I do sleep well on it! I am a side sleeper so I wish it was a little more plush. Perhaps I should of ordered the 12 inch. There is a lot of hip support but not in the upper back and shoulders.”
