Nolah Original 10 - Queen Reviews

4.7 Rating 632 Reviews
I had an 11 inch latex hybrid that was starting to sag in the middle. the 9 inch Nolah is lower, less bouncy, but half the price, just as comfortable, and about half the weight. I easily set it up myself. I'm a side sleeper, sometimes a back sleeper, about 180 pounds. I have not woken up once with any discomfort at all. Sleeps cool, and has delivered as advertised. Really happy.

The shopping experience was good. The mattress has greatly lessened the pain I was having in my shoulders at night, and I have been sleeping quite a bit better than before.

My husband and I tried a number of mattresses and.matress toppers but always woke up sore. When we decided to give the Nolah mattress a try I wasn't convinced it would solve our sleep trouble but have been pleasantly surprised. Over a month in and I can say with certainty this is one of the best mattresses I've ever owned. Best of all, it doesnt sleep hot like so many similar mattresses do. I actually look forward to getting into bed at night now :)

Did a lot of research for "best mattress for side sleeper". Discovered foam was the way to go and even though it is not the cheapest foam mattress out there, I chose Nolah. The Nolah website was easy to navigate and I had no problem finding the info I wanted. Purchasing was a breeze. Giant box on my doorstep showed up really quick and it was pretty fun to see how this rolled-up vacuum bag turned into my new mattress. Super easy to get it ready to use. There is a "learning curve": it will take a few nights to adjust to the foam if you are used to spring mattresses. I've had my mattress for 2 months and can honestly say I have made a very good investment. I am getting more deep sleep and my shoulder, hip and lower back pain is all but gone. I find I don't roll around as much. Had no idea changing the kind of mattress I used would make this much difference. While I bought this for my side sleeping, I have found it is extremely comfy when I sleep on my back as well. And what about that 120 day "try it or return it" warranty?!?! Added bonus.

I spent hours upon hours researching beds. I even went into retail mattress stores and laid on some pretty impressive beds with really hefty price tags. Facebook started showing me ads about all these new beds in boxes so I started to look into it. I looked at so many. Read so many reviews. Im a big girl and a side sleeper so a medium firmness was needed. I also sleep extremely hot. I decided to go with Nolah because the reviews were very positive and the price was definitely right. It took me a bit to get used to going from a 20 year old spring mattress to the Nolah. Ive slept better. My back hurts way less, and its comfortable. My only complaint is that its super hot to me. Like I wake up sweating. It could just be me, because a lot of other people say it keeps them cool. I just cant stay cool in bed I guess. I love this bed. Its so amazing. Even my pup loves it. She doesnt toss and turn anymore at night. Its great.

My husband and I are very pleased with this mattress at first we were worried it might be too soft but after we adjusted (1-2 days) all our questions were answered. We fall asleep immediately, dream deeply. On top of that, we LOVE that it is made in America and that it doesn't have any gross chemicals, wonderful too that they give back to environment.

I am giving a 4 star rating even though I ended up returning the mattress. The mattress was VERY comfortable - it gave the perfect hugging feeling that you enjoy with a memory foam mattress, without feeling trapped. It was comfortable when I slept on my side, back and stomach even. My husband really loved the feeling! He was actually a little sad that we ended up returning the mattress. The reason we returned it was because it slept quite hot, which was a deal breaker for me. I purchased the mattress in March while it was still cool in Minnesota so the first week or so slept fine, but as we got into the Spring-Summer and it started warming up, I was waking up sweating every day. I even sweated just sitting there on the mattress. I tried following the suggestion of using a bamboo mattress protector and it was still hot. We had to sleep with a fan and AC on. So unfortunately, we ended up purchasing a different mattress and returned the Nolah. The customer service for the return was excellent. The support specialist I got assigned to was very responsive, always responded to me within 1 business day. She helped me find a local charity to donate the mattress to and checked in with me every couple of days to see if they've contacted me yet. Although the charity was a little difficult to work with (which was not by any fault of Nolah), I eventually figured it out with them and got the mattress picked up. The refund was processed the next day after the charity picked up my mattress. I would consider purchasing a Nolah mattress again in the future if they came up with a more guaranteed way to ensure the mattress stayed cool.

This mattress is fantastic. I was a little skeptical about a non-spring mattress because it's all I've ever slept on. Within 2 nights on this mattress and I was sleeping more soundly and waking up more rested than since I was a kid. I track my sleep with my apple watch and the tracker shows a definite improvement in the amount of restful sleep I'm now getting, which makes sense because I certainly feel rested when I wake up. I highly recommend this mattress for anyone looking to update their sleeping accommodations. The ordering was simple, shipping was pretty fast and set up was a piece of cake. I'll definitely order from Nolah again for my mattress needs!
