A damn well crafted, smart fitting riding short. Having ridding dozens of iterations of the riding short, from its too skinny and short inseam days to the too beefy and baggy ones, riding shorts have found their nexus in the NWT3K Custom. These shorts are nearing a perfect combination of material, features, fit, story and design. -The fabric stretches just enough to not restrict movement, but is tough. - The inseam covers a kneepad just right, catching netiher above or below the pad, but right in place. The waist band stays put as well. Not coming unsnapped or feeling obstructive. I frequently seek companies that have something new to bring to the mountain bike market, be it a story or an innovative product. The NWT3K custom is both. A well designed , long lasting, product made in Seattle. Made custom for you. As consumers, we have more and more choices and rising above the noise is increasingly difficult- but NWT3K managed a home run with this short. Try them.

Shorts are better than Jersey but still somewhat of a disappointment - love the look but waistband too narrow, limited adjustment on waist size (upwards). Shorts fit small. Seem built for rail thin teens not fit older guys who pay top $$$ ... suggest much lower rise option ...

A little pricey but the coupon helped. The shorts are fine but did not include a Chamois. Constructions seems to be good. One complaint is that the last page of checkout showed $0 for S&H but they charged me $12.xx. When I complained, they said it was because of a Gift Code that I had used. It should have told me on the final checkout page that it was going to charge me shipping.

Awesome, no frills, workhorse of a short. Fit is spot on, both waist and length. Fabric is light and stretchy enough for pedaling, but also durable enough for heavy use. Plenty of room around the knee pads, but slimmer just where it needs to be to not be too baggy. DWR coating does a great job of fending off wet ferns and creek crossings, and keeps the mud to a minimum. Super impressed with these shorts!

Great fit for a 5' 11" 190lb dude. Super comfy, no tight spots while pedaling and sick colors! Full custom, can't beat it!

Great shorts. Fit is perfect, not too baggy, not too tight. Fabric strikes a nice balance for weight too (durable but not heavy) and moves well with 4-way stretch. Customization was fun too.

After a few months of riding with the shorts, I feel comfortable proving feedback that is fair and representative of the product. The overall construction is very good. The zippers have worked without a problem. Materials are of good grade and have worn very well with little to no signs of wear. Extended length option is very nice and covers the knee area well, even at an above average height (6’4”). Color selection during ordering is a nice touch to match different aspects. The main drawback areas are the sides where the waist adjustment is done. It would help if there was a different way of adjusting the waist and maintaining a smooth contour where the adjustment is made. The excess material bunches up in the areas where the adjustment bands are velcroed. There is also a tendency for the actual adjustment band to go over the excess material, which can be a little uncomfortable in those two areas. This seems to only be an issue if you make the adjustment more toward the smaller side. If the adjustment is made to increase the waist size, then there is little to no extra material that needs to be dealt with.
