“Both the sharpener and setter work well for me. The sharpener has several ways to adjust the action and just a small adjustment makes a difference. The setter is easy to use and cranking it is easy and fast. I like to always have a sharp blade ready and when installing it i sharpen the dull blade.”
“I bought my sawmill and knew that no one with in 100 miles or more sharpens blades and that I did need a sharpener and a setter. While it did take a while to set the sharpener up, I was amazed at how much better sharpened blades (and reset the teeth) cut then new blades.

“I've been milling for about 10 years, up until recently I had a very reliable guy that sharpened/set my blades, due to health conditions he could no longer provide the service. My hand was forced and after reading reviews, comparing different manufacturers, I settled on the Sabertooth sharpener and setter. I can honestly say I am extremely pleased with both pieces of equipment. They are very well built, easy to assemble and use. I highly recommend both, you won't be disappointed. As an example, I can set a 158 inch blade, (180 tooth ) in less than 5 mins. With little to no effort, it is accurate and repeatable, the sharpener runs at a rate of 18 teeth/min. Once you have it set up, you just have to monitor, there is a timer that shuts off the feed and grinder when the blade had gone completely around.
I would like to add that I was very nervous about spending that amount of money, buying it on line, sight unseen, wondering if I was up to the challenge. We'll from my experience i can tell you to relax, if you have a bit of mechanical ability, can read and follow instructions, you have nothing to worry about. My only anxiety came from the long delivery time, other than that I am very pleased with the equipment, should do me out :)”
