“Doesn’t apply any down pressure on blade at all very poor design cheap plastic parts and installation instructions that came with it are for hd38 mill very disappointed with product”
“installation was easy but the only issue being is the operator side assembley-----sloted portion of the billet was not enough to make the downward adjustment that was within the instructions and in the illistrations for the adjustments I am assuming that those photos were from the HD38 as there is no micro downward adjustment means provided .
I had to make the slots longer to provide the recommended travel of 3/16" as per instructions (should not have to do that)”
“We mill a lot of red spruce and as everyone knows, spruce knots will generally make waves in your lumber! This upgrade has pretty much eliminated the issue for us! I was hesitant to make this move as my mill sawed other wood very well but now that we have, I have no regrets! I highly reccomend this upgrade for serious millers and suggest in the future that Norwood make this a standard part or at least an option!”

Don't get why people think they need to modify it, do not follow the videos on youtube that drill and modify this unit, just follow the instructions provided...”
“I used the kit on a HD36 mill. The design is great. Problem is the slotted holes are not long enough to depress the blade down. A longer bolt is needed to install the bracket on drive side and spacer. Check You Tube see others with the same issues.”
