“I really enjoy my mill but there are things I would change and or wish that it came with.
Like the top cross bar for the motor support pilars, as well as the system should come with two log clamps. Not just the one. With two back stop upright supports and only one log clamp its creates a bow in the log as well as makes it an unsecure support. I have had logs twist free and jam up the blade.
The mill should have 2 of them so they caan line up witht he back stop uprights creating a good solid lock down and even pressure on the tree to be milled.
I also cant stand how 95% of the bolts are stainless except for the ones with the handles to lock the back stops and log clamps into place. even with lots of oil and or never seize theyy still rust closed and require some work to free up when the mill needs to be used each time.
But the machine operates nice, motor runs good and the mill all around makes me excited each time I use it. But from an end user and customer I feel it was lacking the extra log clamp which is a big deal for me, and Now i am going to have to order another one.”
