The stunning performance of the DM40 is due to the 2x 30 watt amplifier as well as Denon's "Simple & Straight" circuit design; this simplifies the circuitry and shortens the signal path to deliver the best performance possible to produce crystal, clear clarity. The DM40 is packed full of features including a CD player with support for CD-R/-RW discs, DAB, DAB+, FM (with RDS) tuners with auto tuning and 40 presets. Also with USB support you can listen to your favourite music files directly from your iPod using your iPods USB cable, allowing playback from a range of formats including MP3 and WMA as well as lossless FLAC, WAV and AAC. The DM40 hosts an abundance of functionality features all designed to provide simple ease-of-use including large buttons for easy operation, clear to read display, plug 'n play setup, easy timer setting, sleep timer and iDevice charging even in standby mode. There are a number of inputs at the back of the system including two digital optical inputs allowing you to connect TVs, set-top boxes, blu-ray/DVD players, game consoles, network streamers or any other device with an optical output and have their audio delivered by the DM40. There is also a subwoofer output in case you want to add some extra bass.
