There's nothing I hate more than companies who advertise products they don't even have in stock. I ordered a Quad preamp and paid £10.00 extra for next day delivery. By 2pm the next day I'd received no email to say the product had been dispatched and called Nottingham HiFi to enquire on the order status. He took my order number and said he'd call be back in 20 minutes. By 5pm he'd not called back and I called again. I was told they didn't have it in stock and they'd contacted Quad to have it delivered directly from them, and it would be with me on Monday. Yes I said, but I ordered it for Friday because I'm not in on Monday... His response... Oh it probably wont be there on Monday anyway, it'll be Tuesday! Tuesday comes, and I get another email, not from Quad, but from Nottingham HiFi to say my order 'is being made ready for dispatch.' Clearly they'd lied and hadn't passed it to Quad for direct dispatch from them and I clearly won't receive it on Tuesday either, the only day I'm in that week. I don't appreciate being lied to and this company clearly have issues with customer service and fulfilling orders. I've used Nottingham HiFi for the first and last time.

Anthony was brilliant in guiding me through various options for mains conditioning and cables and I didn't feel any undue sales pressure whatsoever. He was very objective in ensuring that I tried things in stages rather than buy everything at once and that I heard a positive difference in each product before I committed to anything. I cannot fault the excellent service and fair treatment I had. Thank you Anthony, I shall definitely be back for anything else I need.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you for the excellent service I received from Michael and Martyn at Nottingham HiFi. I have a high end Naim system and recently discovered Naim are no longer servicing the cds3 CD player. I wanted to buy British and Cyrus was the first and foremost choice. Speaking to Michael regarding a choice between the Cyrus CDI or CDI-XR the XR was the best choice. Purchase made over the phone player was delivered next day excellent service. Where to start ....... this player is stunning absolutely incredible this runs rings round my old Naim CDS3. Beautifully made (in Great Britain) the sensor touch controls are lovely to use. The Xr units are finished in a beautiful phantom black. Remote lights up showing all keys. Now the good bit .... sound is awesome huge sound stage,depth, detail is stunning very dynamic. Very focused on mid range vocals instruments with incredible resolution. Summing up this player from Cyrus is a must must have you will not believe the amount of detail the CDI-Xr is capable of. Cyrus are the masters of CD replay. Recommend you purchase a Chord Signature tuned Aray interconnect to really appreciate what this player will deliver. Highly recommended player and sterling service from Nottingham HiFi. I will defiantly be calling in next year. Thanks very much Paul Booth Rochdale

Ordered stylus cleaner from Nottingham HiFi Centre through Amazon over a month has gone by and nothing has been delivered and tracking info just says in transit and upon contacting Nottingham HiFi Centre I have been offered ZERO help and ZERO customer service.. Buy from them at your own risk

Nothing but stress and inconvenience numerous defective items received had few replaced to same effect apart from amplifier which is faulty but refusal to exchange unless collected first and be left without device for upto 2 weeks or more im house bound disabled cant leave the home limited things to do forced into keeping item with defect as dont wanna be without system my advice is please AVOID!!!! And staff wow unless your upper class lol dont wanna know ya treated like master and serveant type thing

Terrible service not 1 not 2 not 3 issues sent me defective items nothing but inconvenience n stress bought better stuff at carboots ridiculous im housebound disabled in ill health was compensated for past issue now its a refund only minus compensation lol so all agro already been through we'll put u through more waiting on refund minus compensation given haha

Nottingham Hifi supplied & fitted a Linn Kandid cartridge for my Lp12 & Linn Klimax system & I found the whole experience excellent from start to finish in particular Anthony whose attention to detail was second to none in fitting the cartridge...

I have been a customer of Nottingham HiFi for many years and I have always found them to be very professional and knowledgeable. Martin and the team are kind, thoughtful and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend the company. My hifi system is magnificent, thanks to them.

From preorder to aftersales this company has been a pleasure to deal with. From product queries to an after delivery request to replace a dodgy cable, everything has been dealt with timely, courteously, and proactively. Would definitely buy from them again.

Being a complete novice in the field of state of the art HiFi equipment, I was more than impressed with the staff who guided me through the various combinations and setups that would suit my requirements and the room it was intended for. The complete HiFi system was delivered within the week and installed by one of Nottingham HiFi's very knowledgeable and experienced installation engineers. I have never experienced such a high level of after sales service and a genuine attitude in ensuring the system that I had purchased met with all my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone. Thanks Nottingham HiFi.

Ordered a HiFi unit from this company which never did arrive. They routed the order through Amazon for some reason and when it did not arrive, I subsequently cancelled the order and requested a refund. A month after ordering, I am still awaiting the refund. Not a company to be trusted!

Purchase was quick and easy, was kept up-to-date with each step of the process. Could be clearer in the shipping email with regards to what the actual consignment number is but overall a great experience.
