The QED Performance Audio 40 is a great value analogue interconnect that shares similar construction to the award-winning QED Reference and Signature Audio 40. The Performance Audio 40 uses QED's Complementary Conductor Technology, Anamate RCA Plugs, and floating Ferrite insulation that absorbs very high frequency noise that normally disrupt the timing and effects audio replication.The Anamate plugs have a hollow central pin made from oxygen free copper that helps improve high frequency detail, and a unique low mass design that uses two small, high purity copper ground leaves to help reduce eddy currents.The QED Performance Audio 40 utilises two 99.999% Oxygen Free Copper conductors of different diameters to carry the same audio signal, providing an alternative path for high frequency audio components that may become time smeared when used in a single audio pathway.
