The Revo PiXis RX is a great little DAB/DAB+/FM radio that also adds in both internet radio stations and DLNA network streaming that allows playback of audio files stored on your Mac or PC at the touch of a button.The easy to use PiXis features a prominent full colour display that gives detailed information on the current track and station information, and makes sorting through options and settings much easier. With the UNDOK app for iOS and Android devices, the PiXiS can be easily controlled both as a single unit or as part of a multi-room system with other 'Powered by UNDOK' devices.As a radio, the PiXiS features dual alarms with both sleep and snooze functionality, and 10 preset selections per radio mode for quick, easy selection of your favourite stations. “I did a lot of researching before deciding on the Pixis RX and am very happy with it. The menu control system via the little joystick is simple and intuitive. The sound quality is very good, certainly not hi-fi but up to the mark for this type of product. I would have liked a bit lower screen light output on the Low setting, though the RX is better here than many others. I need to turn the radio so the screen doesn't face me during the night but so that I can still see the time. Not a big problem. The only other snag I've come across is that, unless I'm mistaken, one has to go into the menu to set the 'sleep' time, which can be up to 60 minutes, and there is no way to simply hit a button to set it going again once it reaches the switch-off time. I sometimes need to restart a 'sleep' setting during the night, which was possible by a simple button press on my 40-year-old FM-only radio but not with this one.”
