Custom Windows from NT Reviews

4.8 Rating 256 Reviews
I am happy with the windows but one window came in that was damaged. When one window was unpacked, it was discovered to be damaged. My window rep said that the damaged window would either be repaired or replaced but it has not been taken care of since the windows were installed. They were installed on July 24th and, as of August 16th, the damaged window has not been inspected. The inspector was supposed to come on Wednesday, August 12th and did not show.

Please allow me to explain my complaint, which prompted Javier's email below. Approximately a year and a half ago, I hired C&N Windows and Doors in Sherman, TX, to replace the windows on the north side of my home, and last fall, they completed the window replacement on the west, south, and east side of my house. My house now has all new NT Windows. I was pleased that C&N chose NT Windows because you are a company based out of Ft. Worth, TX, and I prefer to do business with local, especially Texas-based companies. Shortly after C&N finished the work, I noticed wind noise in one of the new windows on the south side of my home. I contacted C&N, who quickly sent his window installer back out to diagnose the problem. He installed additional window shims, but they did not affect stopping the wind noise. The window installer noticed the double-hung windows did not come with full screens and felt the wind noise was due to the wind blowing through the screen channels. As the season changed to winter, the wind started blowing from the north, and we had the same issue with wind noise on most of the windows on the north side of the house. C&N contacted your company to order new screens, and after an unreasonable period of time, they finally got the full screens from your company. The very next day, the wind was blowing from the south again, and the wind noise continued. We now know, the full screens are not the cause of, nor the solution to the problem. On Thursday, July 30th, a front blew in from the north. I was standing in front of two of our new windows, watching the lightning as the front came in. While standing in front of the windows, I felt wind passing through the windows. The wind was coming through the window strong enough that a stained-glass picture hanging in one of the windows was moving. The problem is a quality issue with NT Windows. I have sent David an email with my concern.

We had these windows put in at our lake house. Wow what a difference they have made. It really upgraded our house, made it much quieter, and it has already helped with the air conditioning. Not to mention a reduction in dust, dirt and bugs getting into the house.

New windows throughout our home. Windows are beautiful, easy to clean, lessen outside noise, dust and keep cool air inside in summer and cold air outside in winter! WE LOVE THEM! We have gotten many compliments on them and a few neighbors have investigated purchasing NT Windows for their homes.

These windows look great and feel like really solid construction. I have noticed the outer rooms of our house seem to keep a more consistent temperature with these new windows.

We had windows replaced in entire house with Grids on the front and regular windows on back. We love our new windows and we don't have any cold or hot spots in the house. The installers did a good job and finished in two days and cleaned up well before leaving. We have received several compliments from neighbors.
