The drawers and doors have the corners chamfered, but they are not done equally, some are larger some are smaller and it stands out.
The gaps around the drawers and doors are not equal.
The top of the furniture where the pieces of wood meet are not smooth there is a small lip when you run your hand over it, it could easily have been sanded down before treatment but now it’s impossible to sand the rough edges down as you’d have to varnish the whole thing afterwards.
Simple little things that are frustratingly easily seen and felt

“Its a good piece of furniture well made and looks good, I am relatively happy with it but I would have give it 5 stars if.......
Some of the edges where the panels join on the top have not been sanded down properly so there is a slight coarse edge where they meet like a 1mm lip, but if you run your fingers over the top you can feel this edge. Quality control should have picked this up as it's an easy fix just needs sanding down but can not do it now. There was a few edges like this.
The corners of the drawers and doors have a slight corner chamfer, some of these are not equally the same in depth and size.
The gaps around the doors and drawers are not 100% equal only by a couple of mm's but if you have an eye for precision in these looks then just a warning, I might be being pedantic and I know the description says "Rustic" but I do not think that it would be too much time to have these corrected when being made.”
“This sideboard is a quality unit. Well made solid constuction with dove tail drawer joints and good handles and hinges. A very nice smooth finish which highlights the oak grain. It arrived well packed and protected. Everything from order to delivery was fast and efficient. Would buy from this company again AAA+++”
“Hello, just love the look of the sideboard. The finish is great. The only drawback of ordering online I did not know that the shelf inside could not be removed, the fixed shelf height limits what can be stored inside the cupboards. The draw runners could be improved, they work very now but over time the timber will wear down and the draws wont set firm when in an open position, I know because I have a very old oak cabinet and this has happened to the old oak cabinet. Other than that, love it :-)”
