Dear Charlotte, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the French Malbec. We're sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations and that you found it too dry without the fruit flavours you were hoping for. Your feedback is invaluable, I have mentioned this to our wine team and they have advised that this particular Bordeaux is a blend of 5. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot so the Malbec percentage would be quite small and this particular blend is more savoury. Their recommendations would be the Argentinian Malbecs https://www.obrienswine.ie/collections/malbec?refinementList%5Bnamed_tags.Country%5D%5B0%5D=Argentina If you decide to explore more options, our team at the store would be happy to help you find a wine that better suits your palate. Kind regards, Gwyn The O'Briens Team
