This is the second Ocushield Blue Light Filter I've fitted to an iPad. This time it's to my trusty iPad Mini 2 , the one that lives next to my bed that I use as an alarm clock and to scan the news before I sleep. This kind of behaviour is exactly why the Ocushield filter was invented, the very worst thing you can do before trying to sleep is stare at a screen which guaranteed to mess up your sleep but some people....this person at least, never learn. The big problem is the Blue light given off by the screen that this product filters. The screen comes in a strong box that very bright that has comprehensive fitting instructions and information about the product written on it,a lot of thought has obviously gone into the packaging. Inside there's a packet with an alcohol wipe to clean your screen, a cloth to dry it afterwards and some sticky "thingys" that you dab your screen with to remove any dust. There's also a frame to help locate the screen and of course the screen itself, which is made of Tempered Glass . Fitting is easy and the whole process only takes a couple of minutes. The screen was designed by a qualified Optometrist and his team at the University of London so you know that you're paying for something conceived and produced by expert medical people and not on the basis of unverified claims.Once fitted your screen will appear to have a very slight tint but nothing drastic and your iPad will function as normal, there's no delay or change to the sensitivity of the original screen under it's new layer of tempered glass.A great product that will save your eyes and provide a better sleeping experience . £24 isn't cheap but you can't put a price on your ocular health and well-being so I'd recommend this product to any iPad user.

What's in the box:Applicator, Screen Protector, Dust Remover, Alcohol Wipe, Cleaning Cloth.Never thought why our eyes were getting so tired, never realised regarding the efforts of Blue light damage caused.I never had the brightness up fully, it's always turned down as low as is possible; but my daughter quite often turns the brightness right up on her mini iPad and it's vastly concerning. I looked in the appstore but couldn't find any filters that I wanted so am so glad this turned up in my queue for her.I hate bright lights and know that it's damaging, but unfortunately b'cs the iios devices can't have the brightness turned off anymore than right down; that's where these filters and screen protectors are essential.Over the years Iv tried other screen protectors which were ok but found them difficult to aline properly, but b'cs this one comes with an applicator to fit over the iPad b'fore putting the film over its so much easier.★my daughter saw me fit this over her mini iPad, but hopefully she won't be able to get to the screen protector easy enough to rip off b'cs her iPads back in its case★Rather than throwing the applicator away it's come in useful for supporting my mini iPad before putting back in its sleeve, that unfortunately got damaged and so the screen got cracked slight; the applicator is helping to hold it abit more snug and secure.Recommended, good one Ocushield....'Love Your Eyes + Keep them Nice'

My eyes had become terribly bloodshot, and no eye drops would make any difference. They just burned constantly. When my Ocushield arrived and I put it on my iPad, within only a few minutes of viewing my iPad, the burning stopped. It took a few days for the redness in my eyes to go away, but the burning sensation never returned!
