“I spent a lot of time looking for a rack that would fit on top of my Mercedes. After an extensive amount of looking into this I went with the front runner rack. I am most of the way satisfied with it. It is very easy to put together but the size is deceptive in the photos. I have a standard height standard length fan. There is most likely a taper in how the ditches a line along the top. When I put the rack together and had tracks mounted in the ditches it was barely able to fit in the front. I had every single one of the legs extended as far as they could go and it is off-center. However, in the back the rack fits great. Everything is sturdy and I did end up making it all fit but it took extra work. I don't mind having to adjust with something that can be a universal fit piece of equipment, but please let your photography be realistic. The instructions for putting the tracks in the ditch don't match the video that is online for mounting. Every single video that I looked for online, not just with the company but people who installed them at home, all had the tracks mounting to the pre-drilled holes on the van. However, the holes didn't line up in the instructions said I had to drill new holes. So I was suddenly doing a lot of extra work that I wasn't prepared to do. It fits great and I'm very satisfied with how it works but I was not happy for the extra amount I had to put into it. Overall it's great equipment and I'm glad I have it.”
